I seem to be stuck……

But they that WAIT upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.  ISAIAH 40-31

Waiting! Waiting, waiting so much that it seems that I’m just stuck; you ever feel like that ?.Like, you’ve been at a place in your life journey you can’t or don’t move? you’re always waiting for a change, but, the word you get from the LORD is , “YOU HAVE TO WAIT!!” Well, I’ve been there many times; matter of fact I’m in the middle of another waiting period.  I’ve come to understand the delays are very necessary for my Heavenly Father to prepare me for the promise that has or will be reveal after this stuck period is finished, and it’s not really a season in you life that is unproductive; it’s in the depths of your soul  where the unseen work is being done and trust me that is far more important.  You are being strengthen to do great things and to advance your destiny and the kingdom. There are different areas of your stuckness, if I may use the term. Let me give you the places GOD  has taught me to pray and give thanks to HIM .

  1. Desert place- Girl, it’s so dry nothing but sand , hot wind, scorching sun and hot nights you seem to breath hot air and your spiritual lungs feel like if we don’t get a reprieve we’re just going to collapse and die: not so my sister, it’s a PRESS !! and, if you look off into the distance you see the image of a tree and thinking it’s just a mirage you kind of blink but you keep moving toward the image and it becomes clearer as you draw nearer. By the tree it looks like a pool of water and you start to run i.e. pressing into prayer. All though it’s hard to pick up your feet, you run to the tree, to the water because you need the refreshing.  That is the purpose of the dry place. It causes you to seek after the LORD with ALL your heart; to THRIST for him and long to FEEL  his covering. Then, you will find HIM.and He will shelter, replenish, and refresh you. For HIS WORD says: If you seek me; you shall find me, He that thirst for righteousness shall be fill, the Almighty (FATHER) will be your shade (covering); reference scriptures: Matthew 7:7-12, 6:33, Matthew 5:6 , Psalms 91:1-2.

Experience with the LORD has taught me so much about this desert place and the benefits of having this dryness. Imagine walking in the desert not being able to see anything but sand and more sand it’s depressing. You feel like your prayers are stuck in the ceiling or lower atmosphere and not going anywhere you think I’m not being heard, I’ve been forsaken, well, sis, Jesus knows just how you feel, he felt that to so he understands our infirmities he had them also!( Hebrews 4:15). Know that this is a time for a deeper drawing , a nearness that will propel you into a high calling , a launching out into deep waters, a place of power to confuse your enemies, to scratcher the name Sayers, to loose the bondages of wickedness to ascend to heights where revelation about spiritual battles are fought and won.  You are learning the power of prayer, stamina, breakthrough, fearlessness, boldness, and thankfulness. You are learning what it means to press toward the mark of the high calling (Phillipians 3:14) learning how to stand still and see the redemptive power of the forces that are with you against those that oppose you.  You are learning it’s not by what you see, feel, taste, touch, hear (natural), but it’s by the spirit of the LORD that dwells within you.   My advice to you is don’t stop praying, don’t stop fasting, don’t leave your post even when you feel like giving up; remember that’s what Satan what’s you to do in fact, he’s counting on you to stop bombarding heaven, he’s counting on you to quiet, to give up, but, know your Heavenly Father allow this desert place so you would know He will never ever leave or abandon you.  It’s not a feeling, it’s a knowing and that’s the power of your faith.  If you were not ready for this it would not be taking place.  He will not put on you more that you and He can stand.  My sister, please walk and pray though this desert place.  For greater is the reward than the dryness.  Take care…

I didn’t know this would be so long.  This is one of a 4 part series. Stay tune for BARREN LANDS….
