Romans 8; 28 says, And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (KJV).
The translation is the (NIV) says , And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Recently, I had to search for an answer to the place God put me . A place that is not comfortable and I’m stuck; can’t move forward and definitely won’t go back. I’d prayed about it, loose and bound everything I could think of to get unstruck, but to no avail. Finally, one morning in meditation my husband came in the room sat down in my recliner and just began to pray with me; for me. He sensed the anguish of my soul and ask the Lord for mercy and restoration of my peace. After prayer I turn around to him and asked the question, “what am I suppose to do now because I do not like the place I’m in and I want out’. He sat still for a moment and when he spoke he ask me, Do you love God’? of course I replied; next question was “Do you know God loves You?, my answer was yes. Then next thing he said got me. He said, ‘then you have to love the will of God”. Wow! Christian friend; revelation light bulb came on and the heaviness of the place I had been in just lifted. He went on to explain through Romans 8:28 how this is the place to worship and give praise with thanksgiving because this is where God put me. This is the place of assignment. This is the place of obedience that brings blessings. God put you here so He would be glorified and bring honor to yours. He ordained it in the beginning, if it wasn’t his will you would not be here also, the Lord has a purpose and plan; it’s working for your good. I began to praise God for that right now word I needed. Thank God for a wonderful man of God, my husband. I have since embraced the will of God concerning my life for when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Dear Christian friend, Are you in an uncomforted place?, Are you feeling anxious because of your situation?, Does it seem as if God has forsaken you? Well, no he hasn’t but, you have to love the place he assigned you. It’s a blessed place. A place of triumph. Every time you feel downcast began to thank him for where you are and tell him you love him and because of his love and yours ; you love his will; thy will be done in my life even as your Savior said in the garden,”nevertheless not my will but thine”. You may not like where you are that does not count that’s an emotion that we get from our senses and intellect. You don’t have to feel it you have to know and believe it. I trust you gleam something from this post. I really didn’t know just how to word it but God !!!.
Please share this with someone you know that maybe going through something like this and may the Lord bless you and them is my prayer. Until next time.
Blessings
Linda J.
