The Mystery of Christ in Marriage

Scripture: Ephesians 5:31-32 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. (vs32) This is a profound mystery-but I am talking about Christ and the church (vs 32) However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband (if the wife does not respect her husband; she does not love him).

Let’s look at how this works.

· Christ /the Word left his Glory to come down for his bride to be because of his great love for her; even though she was dysfunctional.

· Christ came to serve his wife;  not her serve him. He was/is more interested in her needs being met.

Marriage is compared to Jesus and the church. It is a mystery explained(understood) and revealed through the Holy Ghost. The knowledge of marriage cannot be lived in its fullness without the domas(power) of the Spirit. Just as nothing can be done in the true church without the outpouring of the Spirit, so it is in marriage.

Marriage is an order from God. It came from God, and it flows from God. It is ordained by God; therefore, it can only work through God.

Knowledge is wonderful with the Holy Spirit, it helps you operate and walk, live in power and authority. If, you seek for knowledge without the Spirit you will just have knowledge but no power to do anything. You will not experience HIM; you will only crave more of the nature meaning; what is temporal (earthy) and never obtaining what is eternal.

If Satan can keep you full of the natural, he can defeat you. He does not want you to know you were created to live a supernatural lifestyle on this earth; but he keeps us craving the things of the soulish man by enticement.

We cannot talk to you about the joys of marriage until you understand what marriage is and that’s what we will teach you first, then when your eyes of understanding open (only by receiving the Holy Spirit) then, the joys of marriage can be taught. You can not do marriage; marriage must do you; this is a mystery to you. The saying means until Christ is living on the inside of you; you will not be able to enjoy married life. Jesus is the church’s husband, and he will do anything for her. He doesn’t ask her to do anything for him. We are not here to do service for Jesus he is here to serve us. He only requires us to submit to HIS LOVE. So, it is in marriage between husband and wife.

You must have the “Power of Knowledge” which is the Holy Spirit to live in the Knowledge of Power.
